2025 Homecoming Parade:

October 18th, 2025 at 9:00 AM

 

Get into this year’s festivities by participating in the Homecoming Parade! $17.00 for General Entry and $8.00 for Non-profit Organizations*. Submit an online entry form by Tuesday, October 14, 2025 at 5:00 PM and pay online or submit your $17.00 for General Entry and $8.00 for Non-profit Organizations fee to:

 

If paying by check, checks should be made payable to Truman State University.

*The $17.00 for General Entry and $8.00 for Non-profit Organizations fee covers the costs of putting on the parade. If your entry is for a not for profit organization and is unable to pay the entire entry fee, please contact the Union and Involvement Services by phone at 785-4222 to set up an appointment with a professional staff member. You will have to present information that verifies your organization’s not for profit status.

Terms and Conditions for Parade Entry

In order to submit a parade entry form, you must agree to the following terms and conditions:

 

  • Parade Coordinators will place entries in the order they deem best. Placement requests may be made, but are not guaranteed.
  • The driver must have a valid driver’s license, be in clear view at all times, and must have an escape route.
  • Each float must have a fire extinguisher.
  • Candy may be thrown, but be mindful for the safety of spectators.
  • Blue Key and Union & Involvement Services reserve the right to refuse entry to anyone if they feel the entry is not appropriate for the 2025 Homecoming Parade.

All entry fees must be paid by Tuesday, October 14, 2025. Placement information will be emailed to the provided email address on Tuesday, October 15, 2025 by 5 PM. If you wish to receive a hardcopy packet, they will be available for pick up on Tuesday, October 15, 2025 between 12 PM and 5 PM in the Union and Involvement Services (Room 2000 of the Student Union Building). The placement information will have important information about guidelines for parade entries, the parade route, as well as your parade position.
