NOTE: Cross training can be walking, biking, ellipticals, swimming, almost anything cardio except for running. You may always do a run/walk to cover the entire distance because it is important to build endurance by covering the full distance in the training schedule. This schedule is very short due to the limited amount of time before the race. Typically, one would spend eight or more weeks to train for a race; however, with determination and following the training plan carefully, then one can complete this race.
